1, Define constitutional monarchy as a monarch figurehead with limited power; the actual governing authority belongs to another body. Examples include England and Japan.
2, Define monarchy as an individual ruler with hereditary authority who holds absolute governmental power. Examples include Saudi Arabia and Morocco.
3, Define dictatorship as an individual ruler with absolute authority, and who often comes to power through violent uprising. An example is North Korea.
4, Define pluralism as multiple centers of power vying for authority. An example is the United States.
5, Define oligarchy as a small group of rich or powerful controlling most of the governing decisions. Examples include Russia and Pakistan.
