2. Provide at least one example of grassroots lobbying: petitions, letter-writing campaigns, or protests and demonstrations.
3. Explain the main difference between grassroots and direct lobbying, which is that grassroots lobbying relies on public pressure and does not require inside access, whereas direct lobbying of members of Congress depends on building personal relationships with congressional members and does require groups to gain inside access.
