Answer to Question 2

To encourage young children to engage in book reading in this area, the classroom library must be well-designed, with partitions, ample space, comfortable furnishings, open-faced and traditional bookshelves, and book-related props and displays. Teachers will know quickly if their classroom library meets the criteria for being well designed; inviting classroom libraries are heavily used by the children.
