Answer to Question 1

B
Feedback:
Mr. G's call for help should not be ignored. Gus needs immediate attention, as it is possible he will actually try to kill himself. A psychoanalyst or other professional may be able to help him after his immediate safety is ensured. A person with depression is not helped by anyone asking him to cheer up.
