Answer to Question 1

A
Pruritus is intense itching. The patient's nails should be kept short to avoid injury to the skin and possible infection. Diphenhydramine is not recommended in older patients. Tepid water with lit-tle soap is best. Butter is not a home remedy for itching.

Answer to Question 2

A, B, C, D
Rules for safe exercise include all the above except the patient is more likely to experience hy-poglycemia, so those signs and symptoms are important related to exercise.
