Answer to Question 1

physical (the way a word looks), acoustic (the way a word sounds), and semantic (the meaning of the word).

Answer to Question 2

The first store of memory is a sensory register, where much information is first stored when it is sensed. It is capable of holding relatively large amounts of information for brief moments of time. The second store is short-term memory, which is capable of holding relatively limited amounts of information for a matter of seconds and, in some cases, up to two minutes. The third is long-term memory, which has very large, possibly unlimited capacity; it is capable of storing information for very long periods of time, possibly indefinitely.
