Answer to Question 1

Average H5 = 36.2 billion.
Average H1 = 7.1 billion.
Ratio = 36  1.3 = about 5 times more destructive.



Answer to Question 2

In general, the amount of damage increases with storm intensity. However, the H1
storms included in this graph were more damaging than H2 and H3 storms.
