Answer to Question 1

Answer: Radiational cooling will be maximized, due to the loss of energy, with a minimum greenhouse effect.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: The main pattern would be latitudinal; but isotherms would curve both equatorward and poleward, depending on the season, with increasing distances away from the western coast in the middle latitudes.
