Answer to Question 1

As North Atlantic water subducts, it is replaced by warm water from the South Atlantic. If the formation of deep water slows down, so could the transport of warm currents from the south. The lack of incoming warm weather could lead to a readvance of glaciers. It is thought that the Younger Dryas could have been caused by a slowdown of the formation of North Atlantic deep water.

Answer to Question 2

The best orbital configuration for a glaciation would be to have mild summers that do not lead to significant melt-off from the winter snow. This way, the glaciers can continue to accumulate snow and ice, growing annually in size. Northern hemisphere glaciation is favored when eccentricity is large, the precessional state is such that summer occurs at aphelion, and obliquity is at a minimum.

Stevens-Johnson syndrome and Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis syndrome are life-threatening reactions that can result in death. Complications include permanent blindness, dry-eye syndrome, lung damage, photophobia, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, permanent loss of nail beds, scarring of mucous membranes, arthritis, and chronic fatigue syndrome. Many patients' pores scar shut, causing them to retain heat.

Before a vaccine is licensed in the USA, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reviews it for safety and effectiveness. The CDC then reviews all studies again, as well as the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Family Physicians. When Gabriel Fahrenheit invented the first mercury thermometer, he called "zero degrees" the lowest temperature he was able to attain with a mixture of ice and salt. For the upper point of his scale, he used 96°, which he measured as normal human body temperature (we know it to be 98.6° today because of more accurate thermometers).

Nearly all drugs pass into human breast milk. How often a drug is taken influences the amount of drug that will pass into the milk. Medications taken 30 to 60 minutes before breastfeeding are likely to be at peak blood levels when the baby is nursing.
