Answer to Question 1

Answer: right-forward

Answer to Question 2

Answer: (i) damaging wind-the strong pressure gradient associated with the hurricane drives high winds that sometimes exceed 150 mph.
(ii) flooding-hurricanes typically bring tremendous rainfall amounts that occur over a prolonged time frame.
(iii) tornadoes-hurricanes are accompanied by strong vertical wind shear that promotes storm rotation and tornadoes.
(iv) storm surge-the wind action of the hurricane over the open ocean as well as the low sea level pressure combine to raise water levels as the storm makes landfall.

This condition is progressive and worsens with time. More than 100 million people in the United States are nearsighted, but only 20% of those are born with the condition. Diet, eye exercise, drug therapy, and corrective lenses can all help manage nearsightedness.
