INSTRUCTIONS: Edit the following paragraph for subject-verb agreement only. Find any incorrect verb forms in each sentence, and correct them to agree in number with the subject. Prison is not a positive place for anyone, but a woman prisoner with children find it a nightmare. Sometimes an inmate has a baby born while in prison, and she often must let someone else raise this child. If she keep the baby with her in prison, she can only keep her child a few months before she have to find someone else to raise this baby for her. If she already have children on the outside, she live with the fact that she cannot see them except on planned visits. During the holiday season, she spend the time in prison, away from her children. Even when her children comes to visit her, the visits are supervised and brief. She may carry pictures of her children with her, but mostly she rely on memories. Instead of watching her children grow up, she hear others tell her about her children's favorite activities or experiences at school. Before going to prison, most women prisoners takes care of their children. They also take care of them again when they get out, but this time of incarceration can be rough.
