The proximal port of a triple-lumen pulmonary catheter is located 30 cm back from the tip of the catheter.

ANS: D
CO2 is sometimes used to inflate the balloon because if the balloon should rupture, the CO2 is absorbed by the tissues rather than causing an air embolism.
