Answer to Question 1

A

Answer to Question 2

A, B, D, F
Feedback:
In some cases, the healthcare team identifies a physical (organic) cause for the client's mental disorder (organic disorder). An endocrine disorder (especially of the thyroid), infection, hypoglycemia, drug overdose (OD), drug or alcohol abuse, cerebrovascular disease, brain lesion, and conditions, such as Huntington's disease or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), may cause organic disorders. Closed head trauma (CHT), also known as a closed head injury (CHI), may also cause temporary or permanent psychosis. If an organic cause is identified, its treatment may alleviate the mental illness. If no specific causative agent is identified, as in bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, this mental illness is known as a functional disorder.
