Answer to Question 1

A
Feedback:
According to the U.S Bureau of Labor Statistics, demand for nurses, particularly LPNs, will be driven by the increase in the share of the older population. Employment of LPNs is projected to grow much faster than average (approximately 21) between 2008 and 2018, much faster than the average for all occupations.

Answer to Question 2

A
Feedback:
The client will have difficulty when sitting up after perineal surgery. Some urine may dribble after removal of the wound catheter. This is not a cause for concern. The nurse should inform the client that the wound might take a month or more to heal instead of instructing the client to consult the physician if the wound does not heal in 2 weeks. Sitz bath procedures can be performed after a perineal prostatectomy.
