Answer to Question 1

C
Feedback:
Inflation of the oviducts with carbon dioxide (Rubin's test) may be done to determine patency (openness) of the tubes. An x-ray study called a hysterosalpingogram looks for problems within the fallopian tubes and uterus. Sometimes, a light curettage (scraping) of the uterus is performed to determine whether the uterine lining is undergoing the normal changes necessary to receive a fertilized ovum.

Answer to Question 2

A
Feedback:
Stage 1 is pressure-related alteration of intact skin. Stage 2 is loss of epidermis with damage into the dermis that appears as a shallow crater/blister with red/pink wound bed and no sloughing. In stage 3, subcutaneous tissues are involved and subcutaneous fat may be visible with no bone, tendon, or muscle exposed. In stage 4 is seen extensive damage to underlying structures, full-thickness tissue loss with exposed bones, tendons, or muscles.

Your skin wrinkles if you stay in the bathtub a long time because the outermost layer of skin (which consists of dead keratin) swells when it absorbs water. It is tightly attached to the skin below it, so it compensates for the increased area by wrinkling. This happens to the hands and feet because they have the thickest layer of dead keratin cells.
