Answer to Question 1

D
Feedback:
A functional evaluation determines the client's ability to perform ADLs. Other common tests include electromyography (EMG) (to determine electrical activity and potential of muscles) and a motor nerve conduction study. Vocational assessment identifies skills, potential for homemaking or employment, and retraining needs. Psychological and neurologic tests determine the person's motivation, attitudes, and neurologic deficits.

Answer to Question 2

B
Feedback:
When carrying out any sterile technique, sterile articles should not be touched with nonsterile ones. Sterile items should be free of all microorganisms and spores.
Catheterization procedure requires sterile equipment and not just clean equipment. Contaminated articles should be discarded. If gloves become unsterile, they should be replaced with a new pair of sterile gloves and not washed with soap.
