Answer to Question 1

B
Feedback:
By observing, monitoring the client's vital signs, listening to the client, and using critical thinking skills, the nurse is better able to collect data effectively in the continuing care of the client. These interventions will not help the nurse in analyzing the client's response. They will also not assist the nurse in preparing an effective discharge plan for the client or increase client interaction by increasing participation.

A
Feedback:
Technical skills include administration of an injection and insertion of a urinary catheter. Intellectual skills include basic physical sciences. Interpersonal skills include client encounters promoting development of a trusting relationship.
