Answer to Question 1

A
Feedback:
A client can be moved to a subacute care facility or step-down unit when the level of acuity of care has decreased. The client may not need the services of subacute care if he is about to be discharged. If the client regains consciousness, he may have to undergo further treatment until he can be moved to a subacute unit. If the client's economic condition does not permit him to remain in ICU, he may be able to undergo treatment at home.

Answer to Question 2

B
Feedback:
Many hormones are secreted in the hypothalamus, which in turn control the release of hormones by the pituitary gland. Endocrine glands secrete hormones that are transported to target tissues through the circulatory system and directly into the blood stream. The parathyroid regulates the amount of calcium and phosphorus in the blood. The adrenal medulla secretes hormones that mimic the action of the sympathetic nervous system.
