Answer to Question 1

Ans: C
Feedback:
The nursing student should supervise and evaluate tasks assigned to the NA to ensure that the client is properly cared for. The nursing student may assess a client and contribute to the nursing care plan, but needs to collaborate with the RN during this process. It is a violation of a client's right to privacy for the nursing student to post anything about the client on social media. The nursing student must respect a client's religious and cultural practices, both of which are violated by informing the client that a Kosher diet cannot be accommodated.

Answer to Question 2

Ans: B
Feedback:
All of the procedures listed are within the LP/VN's job responsibilities except caring for an unstable client and providing titration of intravenous cardiac medications. The LP/VN needs assistance from the registered nurse for the procedures provided to a client who is unstable.
