During the Victorian era, a woman would most likely consider feelings of lust or sexual arousal abnormal. However, in modern times, a woman in the U.S. would not consider those feelings to be out of the norm.
 
  What is best illustrated by these differences between Victorian era and modern women?
 
  a. Victorian women were more likely to live by a strict moral code; but modern women, in general, are more apt to ignore this same strict moral code that exists even today.
  b. Psychological distress regarding sexuality is mostly due to our perceptions of how society judges our sexual behaviors.
  c. Today's women are more apt to experience feelings of lust and sexual arousal; however, feelings of lust and sexual arousal were rarer amongst women of the Victorian era.
