60 kVp and tabletop

Rationale: The dorsoplantar projection of the foot will image the patient tabletop as the part measures less than 10 cm. Average kVp would be 55-60 at this part thickness.

Answer to Question 2

increase in kVp by 5-7

Rationale: A medium plaster cast may require an increase of 5-7 kVp.
