Rationale: 40 SID is recommended for thoracic imaging.

Answer to Question 2

dorsal decubitus

Rationale: Decubitus imaging requires the use of a horizontal beam. A patient lying supine with a horizontal beam directed to the MCP will have the patient in a dorsal decubitus.
