RAO/LAO chest

Rationale: Anterior oblique positions of the chest will lessen the effects of magnification of mediastinal structures compared to use of posterior oblique positions.

Answer to Question 2

16 to 1

Rationale: The 16 to 1 grid is most efficient for the clean up of scatter. Strips closer together and a greater height of the lead strip increase efficiency.
