Answer to Question 1

60 kVp, tabletop, and small focal spot

Rationale: Parts that measure less than 10 cm will be imaged tabletop and non-grid. Tabletop imaging should use kVp values less than 70 . Small focal spot for extremities is desired to achieve the best detail.

Answer to Question 2

to the 2nd metatarsophalangeal joint

Rationale: When imaging the AP projection of all 5 toes, the central ray is directed to the 2nd metatarsophalangeal joint. Collimation is to include mid metatarsals.
