weight-bearing lateromedial

Rationale: Weight-bearing and bilateral images of the feet are acquired. Using a lateromedial projection is safest for the patient. The patient can even distribute weight between both feet. The image receptor is placed in between the feet and the beam directed lateromedial.

Answer to Question 2

infraorbitomeatal line

Rationale: The line that connects the outer canthus of the orbit to the external auditory meatus is the orbitomeatal line. The line that connects the inferior orbital margin to the external auditory meatus is the infraorbitomeatal line.
