Answer to Question 1

ANS: A
Isolation suits are fully contained gowns with a plastic face shield and a battery powered air filtration system. Masks do not need to be worn underneath the plastic face shield. The suits retain heat so the room must be kept at a cool temperature. The patient must be protected by an independent warming device.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: C
Used for hemostasis in bone, bone wax is a waxy substance opened only on request and kept on the instrument table when needed.
