Answer to Question 1

ANS: T
Every patient is considered a source of infection. Standard precautions should be observed in all cases regardless of the patient's status.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: F
Double-gloving does not prevent puncture wounds. Skin can be punctured if caution is not taken. Double-gloving can reduce the risk of exposure from seepage of blood and fluid. No glove is 100 impervious.
