 ColibacillosisThis produces a foul-smelling discharge. Prevention is probably more effective than
treatment. Sanitation and cleanliness is of utmost importance.
 Pasteurellosis, fowl choleraFever, depression, anorexia, and ruffed feathers are signs of this disease,
which is treated with antibiotics. Consult with your veterinarian; also, control rodents and sanitation.
 BumblefootIndicatio ns are swollen joints and difficulty walking. Consult with your veterinarian. Suitable
perches and sanitation of cages are important.
 TuberculosisSlow weight loss can be a symptom. Regular tuberculin testing is recommended.
