Horses are accustomed to being handled from the left side. Adhering to this routine and
starting from the left side provides a degree of security and comfort to the horse and provides
the handler with insight with regards to the horse's temperament.

Answer to Question 2

 Equipment used to groom a horse includes rubber curry, metal curry, stiff brush (Dandy),
soft brush, clean rag/towel, mane and tail comb, hoof pick, hoof polish/moisturizer, fly spray
with mitt.
 Equipment used to groom a llama includes slicker brush, comb, towel.
