Answer to Question 2

A
Children with Asperger's share many of the characteristics of autism, but are far less severely affected. Asperger's syndrome is characterized by the combination of severe impairments in social interaction with highly repetitive patterns of interests and behaviors. These interests are often highly limited, but children with Asperger's frequently gain a great deal of knowledge about a relatively narrow range of topics. Unlike with autism, where communication skills are severely impaired, children with Asperger's syndrome have normal repetitive and expressive language.
