C
The incidence of suicide attempts in children peaks during middle adolescence.

Answer to Question 2

C
Depressed preschoolers would most likely have symptoms of increased clinging and whiny behavior. At this age children have fears of abandonment and tend to cling to the caregiver. They will usually complain of stomachaches, unlike older children who might complain of headaches. Feelings of isolation from peers is characteristic of preteens, and being picked on by peers is characteristic of school-age children.
