Answer to Question 1

A

Answer to Question 2

A
Available research on the ethnic match between client and therapist show that when the therapist and client come from different ethnic groups, there is assessment bias by the therapist. Several studies have been done on the effectiveness of psychotherapy in persons from varied cultural and ethnic backgrounds. However, most investigations further indicate that an ethnic match between client and therapist does not affect outcomes. Because effectiveness of psychotherapy is related to multiple variables, such studies are difficult to conduct and findings may be inconclusive.
