Answer to Question 2

Ans: D
Feedback:
The immune, neurologic, and psychological systems have many interacting and overlapping functions. The pathways that exist between these systems help mediate the influence of stress and emotions on a person's immunity and resistance to disease. It is simplistic to claim that most psychiatric illnesses are ultimately the result of a lack of physical health. Nurses' assessments should be holistic, not solely restricted to one system.
