Kaplan identified the need for using behavioral techniques in treating sexual disorders. 2. Freud did not base his work on scientific data. 3. Freud, Newton, and Ellis preceded Masters and Johnson in studying sexual dysfunction.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: 2
Antidepressants, especially SSRIs, are known to decrease sexual desire. The other options are not known to be closely related to development of sexual dysfunction.
