The receptors for acetylcholine are muscarinic and nicotinic receptors. Serotonin receptors are grouped in families such as 5HT 1a, 1b, and so on. Specific receptors for GABA are named A, B, and C. Dopamine receptors are named D1, D2, D3, and so on.
