Answer to Question 1
B
Answer to Question 2
Producers pay close attention to the joints of animals they select for breeding because strong joints can help ensure that the animal moves about freely and is capable of mating. This is particularly true of animals raised on concrete floors. The legs must be set properly under the animal for an animal to move freely and efficiently. If the joints are set at an improper angle, the animal will have problems walking. These animals are not as productive as animals with proper feet, legs, and joints.
