Answer to Question 1

The formula for determining the cubic feet of concrete is obtained by multiplying the thickness (T) of
the floor by its width (W) and length (L) in feet or Cu Ft = T  W  L. Then to obtain the cubic yards,
the number of cubic feet is divided by 27, because one cubic yard contains 27 cubic feet.
