The three positions for mammary glands include:

1 . Anterior or thorasic as found in humans
2 . Intermediate or abdominal
3 . Posterior or inguinal, as found with cattle, sheep, goats, and mares

The three stages in the development of lactation include:

1 . Mammogenesis
2 . Lactogenesis
3 . Galactopoiesis
