Individuals in recreation careers must be able to motivate people and be sensitive to their needs. Good health and
physical stamina are required. They must be willing to accept and carry out responsibility. They must be willing
to work alone in some jobs.

Recreation managers/workers may provide specialized instruction in drama, gymnastics, tennis, games, sports, and crafts
