Answer to Question 1

Classes IIV are considered to be cultivatable, Classes VVIII are not. Cultivation efforts on Classes VVIII land
may be subjected to severe erosion hazards. Land may fall into these classes for reasons other than steepness, such
as rockiness, sandiness, drought, or flooding tendencies that make cultivation difficult or unprofitable

Answer to Question 2

The most important soil erosion control measure for the farmer is to use the land according to its capability. For
instance, Class II land should not be cultivated every year. It needs cover crops and other conservation measures
