Answer to Question 1

The two major forms of propagation are sexual and asexual propagation. The main
advantage of sexual propagation is that it is inexpensive; however, the main
disadvantage is that more time is required to establish a high-quality turf. Asexual
propagation has the advantage of being able to establish high-quality turf very rapidly;
however, the main disadvantage is that it is expensive.

Answer to Question 2

The method used to establish turfgrasses depends upon the kind of grass used, the
environmental conditions where it will be grown, and the amount of money in the budget.
