Answer to Question 2

Longitudinaltypical ly used for cut flower production, the advantage is that it
allows for mechanization. The disadvantage is that it is difficult for employees to
move across the greenhouse with ease.
Cross benchingsimilar to longitudinal but benches are crosswise. The advantage
is that it provides easy accessibility to all benches; however, it does not maximize
growing space as the extra aisle space reduces efficiency.
Peninsularhas one central aisle that runs the entire length of the greenhouse and
provides accessibility to employees while maximizing the growing area.
