Answer to Question 1

A zoonosis is a disease that can be transmitted from animals to humans.

Answer to Question 2

A host is the organism on which or within which the parasite lives and from which it derives its sustenance
(food or nourishment). An intermediate host is a host that a parasitic organism lives on or in during an
immature stage
