Six different shapes that are used in floral design are round (circular), triangle,
horizontal, crescent, Hogarth (S) curve, and right angle.



Answer to Question 2

The nine basic principles of floral design are focal point, proportion, scale, accent,
repetition, rhythm, harmony, and unity. Students' examples of each will vary.
