Answer to Question 1

Dish gardens are gardens grown in a container; miniature gardens (or fairy gardens) are
small container gardens that include both living plants and tiny structures; and
terrariums are covered container gardens. All three are similar in that they require the
use of plants that are well-suited to a small, contained area. Because terrariums are
enclosed, they have special needs related to moisture and humidity not shared by
container or miniature gardens.

Answer to Question 2

Examples of reasons why herbicides sometimes fail include incorrect selection and
improper application of the herbicide.

People who have myopia, or nearsightedness, are not able to see objects at a distance but only up close. It occurs when the cornea is either curved too steeply, the eye is too long, or both. This condition is progressive and worsens with time. More than 100 million people in the United States are nearsighted, but only 20% of those are born with the condition. Diet, eye exercise, drug therapy, and corrective lenses can all help manage nearsightedness.
