Answer to Question 1

Biodiesel is becoming increasingly popular because many people and countries are
becoming conscious of the benefit of using fewer fossil fuel products, and biodiesel is
another alternative fuel source. It can be made from recycled food oil, and diesel engines
were originally designed to run on vegetable oil anyway. Present day diesel engines are
easily converted to run off biodiesel, and biodiesel produces less harmful emissions

Answer to Question 2

Fermentation is a process that breaks simple sugars, such as those found in plants, down
into cellular energy, which can result in a usable product like ethanol
