Answer to Question 1

Wool is classified as fine wool, long wool, medium wool, hair, and fur.

Answer to Question 2

Sheep can be raised in a drier climate because they are able to successfully graze on
poorer grazing lands. In addition, a drier climate helps reduce parasite and disease
problems associated with sheep that are grown in the more humid areas.
