Answer to Question 1

Place rock wool slabs in lines on a level surface. Customarily double
lines of slabs are used. Install a nutrient solution delivery system on top of the
slabs which releases solution at the base of the plants. Apply solution several times
per day allowing it to percolate down through the slab and out the lower sides. The
solution may be allowed to go to waste or may be recirculated.

Answer to Question 2

During the middle of the night because fewer hours of light are required.
