Your friend shows you a houseplant that she potted in good-quality garden soil. It has weak new growth and yellow foliage even though she says she fertilizes it regularly. What is probably wrong with the plant and what can be done about it?

The plant is growing in soil that has compacted and the roots are not getting enough air.

Answer to Question 2

Because chelated nutrients are less affected by pH and will remain available even at unfavorable pH
