Answer to Question 1

Start: Fill the spray tank with water and decide what chemicals are needed for the day. Mount the needed chemical dispenser tanks on the sprayer. Data on the identification tags are inserted to the sprayer control monitor. The information is then reviewed before spraying begins.

Finish: Flip a switch to clean and rinse the sprayer. Chemical tanks are removed; sprayer is drained, washed down, and parked. Protective clothing and respirator are removed, a shower is taken, and then records of chemical usage for the day to the specific turf area or areas are recorded.

Answer to Question 2

Concentrated pesticides are injected from chemical dispenser tanks directly into the spray lines prior to the nozzles.
